Chicken Kebabs

Ingredients

Male

  • 112g chicken (cooked weight)

  • Veggies e.g. pepper, onion

  • Side salad

  • 55g Fat free greek yoghurt

  • 2 tsp Paprika

  • 2 tsp Ground cumin

  • 0.5 tsp Cinnamon

  • 0.5 tsp Dried chilli flakes

  • 2 tsp Garlic granules , (or 3 cloves of fresh garlic)

  • 1 Lemon, Zest and juice

  • Salt and freshly ground pepper


  • Optional: If you want to use a carb allowance add 180g (cooked weight) sweet potatoes


Female

  • 75g chicken (cooked weight)

  • Veggies e.g. pepper, onion

  • Side salad

  • 42g Fat free greek yoghurt

  • 2 tsp Paprika

  • 2 tsp Ground cumin

  • 0.5 tsp Cinnamon

  • 0.5 tsp Dried chilli flakes

  • 2 tsp Garlic granules , (or 3 cloves of fresh garlic)

  • 1 Lemon, Zest and juice

  • Salt and freshly ground pepper


  • Optional: If you want to use a carb allowance add 120g (cooked weight) sweet potatoes



Preparation

Steps


  1. Chop the chicken, onion and pepper in to chunks and add on to skewers

  2. Combine the fat free greek yoghurt, paprika, ground cumin, cinnamon, chilli flakes, garlic, lemon, salt and pepper in to a paste

  3. Coat the skewers and marinade for at least 30 minutes or even better overnight (cling film in the fridge

  4. Cook in the oven until cooked throughout

  5. Serve with a side salad
